During a February 2002 visit to Colorado, I found the Georgetown Loop Railroad's narrow-gauge 2-8-0 No. 40, in steam at the Colorado Railroad Museum, in Golden. No. 40 was on her way back to the Georgetown Loop after spending a year on loan to the White Pass and Yukon.
The locomotive is an oil-burning 1921 Baldwin product with an outside frame. She was built for the Guatemala Railway Co. Here she is backing into the museum's roundhouse.
